Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Services
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an autism based one-on-one therapy program designed to focus on improving age-appropriate behaviors while decreasing negative behaviors that are impacting functional daily living. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), and Behavioral Therapists concentrate on developing and enhancing functional skills that promote success in communication, social settings, and daily activities through one-on-one intervention. They work closely with our Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists to holistically treat and collaborate to provide the most individualized plan of care for each child.
Currently, funding sources require that clients must have an Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis to receive ABA services. The Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis must include diagnostic approval from the following professionals: Medical Doctors, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), or Psychologists. Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) can assist these other professionals in the diagnosing of Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with the accepted assessment tools required by funding sources.
We are so excited to offer a new service delivery model that will provide all of our existing therapy services in a collaborative and smaller environment. The Pathways ABA House will provide all the excellent qualities of our existing collaborative model in an exclusive outpatient setting that provides a smaller, more close-knit, home environment.
The Pathways ABA House offers one-on-one intervention with opportunities for:
- Functional daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, etc)
- Gardening
- Outdoor exploration
- Play with and care for our pet animals.
