Developmental Therapy Services
What is Developmental Therapy?
Developmental therapy is an extension of the First Connections Early Intervention Program. Our Developmental Therapists provide assessments to patients from 0-3 years old in 5 specific developmental domains. This assessment is then used to establish need for referral for other services within the Early Intervention program and to address any parental concerns. A multi-disciplinary team then meets to discuss further options.
Our Pediatric Developmental Therapists provide evaluation, intervention and consultation in the following areas:
- Adaptation
- Cognition
- Expressive & Receptive language
- Fine motor
- Gross Motor
